What search options are there?
You can search by using a location or with categories. Use the button on the right side of the search bar to change between location/categories search.
When will stock videos be available?
We will be adding stock videos early to mid 2018 once we are happy the system is working correctly for photos. The addition of video will bring a large increase in data, and we are wanting to make sure our systems can handle it.
What are the location markers based on?
For a majority of cameras location metadata is included in the image file. Therefore the location marker is where the image was taken. Some cameras require manual entering of location information by our users so may not be completely accurate. Please contact us if you come across a photo with incorrect location information.
Any tips for location search?
Usually the location marker is from where the image was taken. Perhaps widen your search as higher altitude photos may be outside your search radius, however it will incorporate the area you are looking for.

What is your Satisfaction Guaranteed policy?
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase then please contact us and we will make it right.
We do ask that customers make sure that the content serves their purpose before purchasing. A good tip is to look at the resolution as this can greatly differ between images. If you have any pre purchase questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
What currency are items in?
Australian Dollars. We are developing a currency converter, which will be available in early 2018.

What is the difference between Low & High Resolution?
We always recommend choosing the High Resolution option. This will give you the best quality image with the greatest flexibility for a wide range of projects.
The Low Resolution option gives you a much smaller image which is fine for a number of projects but will limit what you can do with the image.
If you are still unsure please contact us with what you are planning to do with the image and we can provide guidance.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and PayPal.
Do you accept bank transfers?
We can accept bank transfers, however this will incur an additional $10 fee. This will also slow down the purchase due to the time it takes to receive the funds into our account. For Australian customers this will be quicker than overseas customers. Please contact us if you would like to pay via bank transfer.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, We offer discounts for a wide range of reasons. Check out our Discounts page for more information.
Where do I enter my discount code?
On the Checkout page below the items in your cart you will need to click on the “Have a discount code? Click to enter it” area to enter your code. Once entered successfully your total will automatically update.
Why does my discount code not work?
Certain promotions are only valid for a limited time. If you have a code that does not work but you believe it should please contact us with the details.
Can I use multiple discount codes?
Unfortunately no. We recommend using the latest discount code you have access to. Keep an eye on our social media pages or sign up to our newsletter to get access to new discount codes.
What is meant by Licence information?
Customers only purchase the rights to use the image or video for a particular purpose. By limiting the use of a photo or video to just a single purpose we are able to keep our prices down.
For example a real estate agent can purchase a photo to use for a particular property in its marketing campaign. What the real estate agent cannot do is use the same photo forever for a number of properties they are selling, as this is against our licence terms.

How will I receive the image or video?
After a successful transaction the following page will provide a link to download your content immediately. This link will also be emailed to you. If you do not receive this email, or think you may have accidentally entered an incorrect email address, contact us to rectify.
My download link has expired. What can I do?
The available time and amount of times a item can be downloaded is limited for security reasons. If for some reason you require additional downloads, or extended time to download please contact us.
Will I receive an invoice?
Yes, after purchase there will also be a link to an invoice. This link will also be emailed to you with a download link to the content.
Unfortunately due to the limitations in our automatic system we cannot make any changes to this invoice. We recommend you input all information required for the invoice on the Checkout page before purchasing.
I would like to become a contributor. Where can I sign up?
We have a very simple sign up application.
Do I need to hold an aviation licence?
Short Answer: No. We do not require a licence of any kind.
Long Answer: SkyStock is based on aerial photos which can be taken by a number of different methods including poles, hang gliders, drones, ultralights, helicopters, fixed wing aircraft and satellites. If you are doing the flying yourself you may require a licence depending on the rules of your local aviation authority. SkyStock will leave the regulating to the regulators, as we would rather spend our time admiring the great aerial photos that our contributors produce.

How are contributors paid?
Payments are made via PayPal in the month after a commission is earns. Please ensure your PayPal associated email address is correct. Sign into your Contributor Dashboard click the Profile link to check an change these details.

How do I upload content?
Sign into your Contributor Dashboard and click the Add Photo(s) tab. Detailed instructions are contained on this page.
How can I change my personal details and add an avatar?
Sign into your Contributor Dashboard and click the Profile tab.
Where can I see details of my sales?
Sign into your Contributor Dashboard and click either the Earnings or Orders tab.
How can I edit or delete my photos?
Sign into your Contributor Dashboard and click the Photos tab.
